Well Samia got some firsts/milestones out of the way. She saw her first man in a skirt...well a kilt actually. We (grandpa, grandma, mom, samia, and aunties) went to the 42nd annual Scottish Festival at the Orange County Fair Grounds. It was so much fun. We saw different atheletics like the caber toss, and some pitch fork toss. We also got to taste meat pies and kettle corn (how that is scottish i don't know). But we also got to look up our clan. We saw plenty of bag pipes including Glendora's tartan pipers, and scottish dancing. Samia also got to go through the petting zoo. So we had a great time.

Later that night when we were relaxing at home Samia started getting fussy. She end up tossing her cookies and later when we tried to give her a bottle that came up too. She had a slight fever. The next morning I had a hunch and checked her gums... sure enough she has two teeth coming in. Yeah!! Mystery solved. So I've been giving her those little teething tablets to help her.
It's official, I registered for school today. I'm only taking two courses for summer, then full schedule for fall. My thoughts have been really scattered of lately with trying to go back to school. I have been reading a couple of good books. I've realized in my persuit to provide for my daughter and myself I have lost my life's passion. So I am on a journey to find my passion. What am I good at, what do I want to do? Hopefully this and much more will be answered in time.
